In Qiubei County in eastern Yunnan, easily reached by high-speed train. Combine with Bamei for a few days in the karst landscape.

Puzhehei Lakes 普者黑
A landscape of green karst hills rising out of lakes and lotus ponds. Explore by boat or bicycle, visit the Yi village of Xianren Dong, and climb Qinglong Mountain for the view at sunset. The lotus is in bloom from June to August.
