Dongfeng Charm Art Town 东风韵小镇
An unusual art town in the countryside of Mile, with brick buildings in organic, fairy-tale shapes, set among lavender fields and vineyards. A favourite with photographers.
Mile Hot Springs 弥勒温泉
Mile is known for its mild climate and hot springs. Spend an evening in the hot-spring resorts around Huquan Lake – a perfect rest stop on a longer trip through the south-east.
Chengzi Ancient Village 城子古村
In Luxi County, Yi families built their houses in terraces up a hillside, with the flat earthen roof of one house serving as the courtyard of the house above. A unique village, very different from other parts of Yunnan.
